The Auckland Regional Migrant Resource Centre in collaboration with Career Services, Rapuara, The Auckland Chamber of Commerce, and Work & Income NZ invite you to participate in their informative and interactive workshops First Steps to Employment in New Zealand which are held weekly.
These workshops provide job search skills/getting a job: An overview of the NZ Business culture and Employment Environment; Employment English needs; What support can you expect from Work & Income?; Job search skills; Pathways to follow up; Interactive workshop to draw up your individual employment plans in NZ.
Presented by a range of experienced presenters from ARMS, Career Services, WINZ, Chamber of Commerce etc. Workshops are held at Three Kings, ARMS Centre, Three Kings Plaza every Tuesday 9.30 am to 3 pm (please contact 09 625 2440 for details) and at ARMS Manukau Centre, 6 Osterley Way, Manukau City every alternate Wednesday, 9.30 am to 3 pm (please contact 09 263 5490 for details). Eligibility: all migrants seeking professional employment in New Zealand who have permanent residence or a work permit.
